The projects consist of : Gravity Sewer Extensions and Grinder Station Abandonment : Installing seven ( 7 ) new sewer lines including removing and replacing approximately 1 , 210 LF of 8 pipe , installing approximately 3 , 985 LF of 8 pipe , removing and replacing 10 manholes , installing 26 manholes , 104 LF bore and casing for 8 pipe , installing approximately 1 , 820 LF of service lateral , abandoning 16 grinder pumps and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner . Grinder Pump Replacements : Removing and replacing one duplex grinder pump system and six simplex grinder pumps as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner . Sewer Interceptor Improvements : Removing and replacing approximately 651 LF of 8 pipe and installing 12 pipe , remove and replace 3 manholes and one flared end section and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner . Force Main Improvements : Installing approximately 3 , 783 LF of 8 PVC force main pipe , abandonment of two existing 6 force mains , 57 LF bore and casing for 8 pipe and coordinating with Contract 1 Contractor for force main improvements tie in to lift station improvements . Collection System Rehabilitation : Approximately 3 , 270 LF of 8 CIPP lining , 24 CIPP service lateral liners , 7 point repairs , 19 cover and frame replacements , 103 replacement of frame seal and external wraps , 77 VF of epoxy lining , 195 VF of curtain grouting , 5 bench and invert rehabilitations and other miscellaneous work as indicated on the construction drawings and as directed by the Owner . Bids will be received for a single prime contract . Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis , with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form .
