Description

The purpose of the Invitation for Bids (IFB) it to solicit bids to establish a contract through competitive seal bids for the addition and termination of power cables from the on-site substation to two existing STS crane service pits on the dock. In addition two (2) new cable anchors will need to be installed within the existing crane service pits. A “MANDATORY” prebid conference will be held on July 2, Year 2024 at 10:00 A.M. local time, at Virginia International Gateway, 1000 Virginia International Gateway Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23703. All bidders will be required to visit the site following the prebid conference. All Contractors “MUST” pre-register by RSVP to proposals@portofvirginia.com by July 1, 2024. IFB responses must be received by 2:00 PM EDT, July 16, 2024.
