Description | Contractor ( s ) shall continue to expand upon SEP ’ s in - person training as requested by SEP . Each vendor will provide a host as well as at least one SME per event . That same host may lead any panels that will hold discussions . SMEs shall serve as the lead presenters for each of the training topics which may include , but is not limited to , the following topics : ● Commercial leases and negotiation tactics ; ● Contracting ; ● Security best practices ; ● Legal business structures ; ● Business development ; ● Marketing ; ● Cannabis trends ; ● State and Local licensing rules , regulations , and processes such as the annual licensing and renewal process ; ● State and Local compliance topics such as : State of California Cannabis Laws and Regulations from the Department of Cannabis Control ( DCC ), Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA ) compliance , California Environmental Quality Act ( CEQA ) compliance , the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration ( CDTFA ) regulations , Los Angeles Fire Department ( LAFD ), City of Los Angeles , Bureau of Sanitation Bureau ( LASAN ), and Los Angeles County Department of Public Health permitting requirements . |
