Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . Montana State University Procurement & Contract Services is considering a request from Spectrum Lab , to award a Sole Source contract to FormFactor for a 300 mm automated PIC wafer testing station with thermal control . The determination of this Sole Source purchase is based on the following requirements : Description of Service or Product required : 300 mm wafer automated testing station with 2 hexapod optical probe arms and 2 motorized RF / DC probe arms for the measurement of photonic integrated circuits that meets the following specifications : Thermal chuck and platen with temperature control from - 60 ° C to 300 ° C for testing cooled detectors and laser systems ; Automated software for integration with Keysight test equipment ( such as M8199B Arbitrary Waveform Generator and UXA Signal Analyzer ) that will be used to test RF waveforms for optical chirps ; Compatibility with tunable light sources from Keysight and other vendors as well as a variety of detection systems and relevant automated control software platforms for optical characterization ; Automated software for the alignment of optical fibers and making insertion loss measurements ; Ship date on or before June 30th to fulfill our grant mission
