➢ Provide fiber WAN connectivity at all locations indicated in Attachment A . Should new fiber be pulled , the service provider is responsible for obtaining all necessary right of ways required for this project . ➢ WAN connectivity at all sites except for Centennial Field must provide 20 gigabit connectivity . This can be provided through link aggregation of two 10 gigabit connections on both the fiber connection and handoff to the school . The WAN connection for Centennial Field will provide at least 1 gigabit of service with a 1 gigabit handoff . ➢ Internet connectivity must provide at least 5 gigabit transfer speed . This will be delivered through a dedicated fiber ( separate from the WAN fiber ) to Bainbridge High 3 School and distributed to our other locations through the WAN . Decatur County Schools will provide a district - owned firewall / web filter which resides at Bainbridge High School for securing and filtering the Internet connection district - wide . ➢ Provide at least a / 26 IPv4 subnet range containing 61 publicly accessible IP addresses ➢ Provide the necessary equipment for network integration ( switches , routers , transceiver modules , etc .) and support ensure a turn - key WAN and Internet connectivity district wide . This equipment will be owned and supported by the service provider . ➢ Delivery of each component to its designated secured location . ➢ Staging and configuration of the specified equipment to allow for the existing layer 2 VLAN and layer 3 subnet configuration that we provide for each location . ➢ Onsite installation and test to ensure functionality . ➢ Verify WAN connectivity and Internet access can transmit data at the stated speeds . ➢ Document in the site network installation document all part numbers , quantities , and serial numbers of network electronics being installed . ➢ The WAN will be maintained by the service provider . In the event of loss of communication to any site , repairs shall start within 2 hours of the service outage . Except for those agreed upon the final negotiated contract between the district and the service provider , outages lasting longer than 24 hours shall be subject to liquidated damages agreed upon in the final negotiated contract . ➢ During the term of this contract , any changes in the routing of the fiber cable due to other entities holding access restrictions to cabling pathways or routes , infrastructure changes and / or requirements ( street widening , new underground cabling requirements , etc .), utility company changes ( pole relocation , etc .), or other changes impacting the routing of cabling between the sites will be the sole responsibility of the service provider at no expense to the district . ➢ The district is requesting proposals with a 3 - year term along with two 1 - year options . However , alternative proposals for a shorter duration will be considered only if submitted with the required 3 - year plan . Future contracts and / or renewals will be at the discretion of the district . ➢ The district will only be invoiced for non - discounted portions of costs net of E - Rate . ➢ Vendor must provide one primary contact number for all billing inquiries .
