The Biomedical Engineering Department at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles , CA ( VA GLA ) requires a service contract for comprehensive support of its Linear Accelerator ( LINAC ) hardware , ARIA and Eclipse software , and Full - scale network system . These systems are integral to the Radiation Oncology treatment programs and are essential for delivering patient care . The need for a service contract arises to ensure the continued optimal performance and reliability of these critical systems , which are essential for providing high - quality radiation oncology treatments to veterans .
