The selected vendor shall provide the following services : • System Design : Conduct a thorough site assessment of the Lee County Jail to design a fire alarm system that includes , but is not limited to detection devices , notification appliances , control panels , wiring , and integration with existing building systems ( e . g ., HVAC , access control , and emergency lighting ). The design must ensure complete coverage of all areas , including cells , common areas , administrative offices , and exterior perimeters . The design must be approved by the State of Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire . • Installation : Furnish and install all necessary components of the fire alarm system . This includes but is not limited to smoke detectors , heat detectors , pull stations , horns , strobes , annunciators , and monitoring equipment . Installation must minimize disruption to jail operations and adhere to all safety protocols . • Remove and dispose of all existing fire alarm system components . • Testing and Commissioning : Perform comprehensive testing , including functional tests , sensitivity checks , and system integration verification . Provide certification of compliance upon completion . • Training and Documentation : Train designated county staff on system operation , maintenance , emergency procedures , and troubleshooting . Deliver as - built drawings , operation manuals , and maintenance schedules . • Warranty and Support : Provide a minimum one - year warranty on all materials and labor , with options for extended service contracts . Provide a schedule for post - installation maintenance services • The system must be scalable for future expansions and compatible with remote monitoring by local fire authorities .
