The <span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="customVariable.98019">City of Palm Desert</span> (“<span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="customVariable.98020">City</span>”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms (“Proposers”) for <span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="project.title">Janitorial Services at City-Owned Facilities</span> (“Services”) to establish a <span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="customVariable.98010">Maintenance Services Agreement</span> ("Agreement").To serve and promote the welfare of its residents, the <span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="customVariable.98020">City</span> intends to procure the Services, as described below.<span class="templateTag mceNonEditable" data-templatevariable="customVariable.98008">The City is requesting Proposals from a qualified company to provide janitorial services at various City facilities for a term of five years, commencing July 1, 2022. Contractor will be required to perform all facets of janitorial services under this Agreement. Work shall be performed daily and be accomplished to minimize disruptions to office staff. Work will be accomplished while observing and adhering to all applicable regulations including but not necessarily limited to: OSHA and Cal-OSHA; hazardous waste disposal; NPDES; and City’s MS4 Permit. The Contractor shall maintain a local office with a competent representative that can be reached during the contract’s scheduled working hours. An answering service or mobile telephone recording will not be accepted to fulfill this requirement. A local office is described as one that is physically in the Coachella Valley. Contractor will be required to provide the address of the local office. </span>
