D3 . SCOPE OF WORK D3 . 1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the demolition work and construction as per construction documents to renovate the kitchen at Turtle Island Neighborhood Centre , with associated mechanical , electrical and HVAC upgrades - 510 Kings Street . D3 . 2 The major components of the Work are as follows ( refer to drawings for complete scope ): ( a ) Demolition and disposal of existing flooring , portions of wall , ceilings , millwork , cabinetry , shelves , doors , door frames , and server window shutters as indicated in the drawings . Patch or make good adjoining walls , floors , and ceilings to receive new finishes . ( b ) Remove existing appliances / equipment and recycle or dispose of them through appropriate programs . ( c ) Supply and install new millwork , stainless - steel counters , backsplashes , shelving , and base cabinets , as per drawings . ( d ) Supply and install new kitchen appliances , equipment , fixtures , and accessories as required . Provide support for new and relocated wall - mounted fixtures and equipment . ( e ) Supply and install new flooring , cove wall base , wall finishes , and painting . Refer to the drawings and room finish schedule . ( f ) mechanical , HVAC , and electrical upgrades , as per drawings . ( g ) final cleaning and washing of all areas affected by demolition and construction work .
