Kittery Memorial Athletic Complex Renovations - IFB

1 . The proposed project is the complete renovation of the existing property . Work shall include the following : a . A new multi - purpose infilled synthetic turf field ; b . Two ( 2 ) new natural grass youth baseball fields ; c . New dugout structures ; d . Three ( 3 ) new support structures ; i . Materials for the three ( 3 ) support structures shall be furnished by the Town of Kittery . Contractor shall install the required concrete foundations and install the structures , as detailed by the structure vendor . e . New elevated grandstand with press box ; i . The grandstand and press box shall be furnished and installed by the Town of Kittery . Contractor shall install the required concrete slab and coordinate site access with the grandstand installer . f . New sports lighting ; i . The sports lighting system shall be furnished by the Town of Kittery . Contractor shall receive equipment , install precast bases , assemble , erect , and wire the system ( s ). g . New Scoreboards ; i . The scoreboards shall be furnished and installed by the Town of Kittery . Contractor shall install concrete foundations and coordinate site access with scoreboard installer . h . New parking and pedestrian walkways i . Other associated site improvements ( fencing , ball netting , athletic equipment , landscaping , etc .) as illustrated and defined in the drawings and specifications . D . In addition , the work under the Contract includes : 1 . Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work . 2 . The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site . 3 . Providing and restoring , where appropriate , all temporary facilities .
