Description | Grinding of the existing brush pile located at the landfill facility . Interested bidders are encouraged to visit the site at their convenience to assess the quantity , composition , and site conditions in order to prepare an informed bid . It is the City ’ s preference that all resultant grindings remain on - site for use as daily or intermediate cover material . However , bidders may propose the removal and off - site disposal of the grindings if it can be demonstrated that such an approach provides a cost advantage to the City . All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable regulations and in a manner that ensures safe and efficient operations at the landfill . |
