Description | This Request for Proposal is for comprehensive commercial landscape maintenance services across multiple fire stations , training facilities , and administrative locations . The Contractor shall provide all labor , materials , equipment , and supervision necessary to maintain landscaped areas in a safe , clean , and professional condition . Scope of Work • Weekly mowing during growing season , reduced frequency during dormant season . • String trimming around all buildings , curbs , fences , and site features . • Edging of sidewalks , curbs , and hardscape . • Blowing and cleanup of all hard surfaces . • Landscape bed weeding and maintenance . • Shrub and hedge pruning to maintain health and maintenance . • Remove of dead and / or damaged plant material . • Fertilization and weed control applications . • Integrated pest and plant health monitoring . • Irrigation system visual inspections and minor adjustments or repairs . • Seasonal spring and Fall cleanups . • Leaf removal during Fall season . • Storm debris cleanup as needed . Turf Aeration and Thatching • Core aeration shall be performed once annually in the Spring or Fall . • Power thatching / dethatching shall be performed once annually as turf conditions require . • All debris removal and disposal shall be included in the base contract price . |
