SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , supplies , trucking , equipment , transportation , and supervision necessary for , and incidental to , the following services : A . Spring Services Spring services shall be performed annually in the month of April , weather permitting and must be scheduled in advance with the on - site Building Supervisor . Services shall include : a . Clean and remove , off - site , all debris from the entire grounds area , including lawns , garden beds and paved areas including parking lots ( see Attachment 1 for site boundaries ). b . Cut grass edge with a motorized steel - blade edger along all pavement and landscape beds and prepare a sharp grass edge for the growing season . B . c . Remove all dead and broken branches from trees and bushes . d . Remove all weeds by the roots from plant beds and dispose of off - site . e . Contractor shall install a two - inch application of fresh mulch surrounding trees , planting and landscape beds . Weekly Services The following services are to be performed weekly during the grass growing season from spring to fall , and shall include : a . b . C . d . e . f . g . Remove , off - site , all debris such as trash , leaves , landscape weed , and dead branches . Mow lawn to maintain grass height between 2 1 ⁄ 4 inches and 3 inches . Avoid blowing grass into bushes and garden beds . Trim all lawn edges . Weed whack all areas not accessible to mowers to maintain grass height of 2 3 ⁄ 4 inches and 3 inches . With a blower , clean grass clippings from lawn edges , paved areas , nooks and corners of the building perimeter and exterior stairs . Use small mowers on hills and around tight areas to avoid damaging the lawn . All shrubs and evergreens shall be pruned to remove dead or damaged branches to contain the size , maintain the natural form of the plant , to maintain an ' air ' space between the plant and the buildings , and to eliminate overgrowth to walkways , driveways and parking areas .
