Laundry & Dry Cleaning

The Contractor will provide dry cleaning services , as listed in the proposal , for the City ’ s Fire Department , Police Department and other City of Cleveland personnel as needed . All services will be performed in a manner satisfactory to the City . The Contractor shall be held responsible for all items received until the same is returned to the proper owner . The Owner shall be fully compensated within seven days for all items whether damaged or lost through negligence on the part of the Contractor . The Contractor must provide the City employee a claim ticket when clothes are dropped off . The Contractor must also require the City employee to sign a ticket when receiving their clothes . Tickets shall include the following information : type of clothing , service performed , name of employee and date of service . Duplicate tickets shall be submitted to the City with a monthly invoice that is broken down by each department . Laundry items are noted as such on the proposal form , all other items contained herein are to be dry cleaned only . The material shall be best possible work . Contractor shall provide small services customary to the industry , such as button replacement . All buttons shall be replaced promptly and any tears in any of the material shall be mended as the item is received for dry cleaning and / or laundry . The City currently has six ( 6 ) Fire Stations . The Contractor shall be responsible for pick - up and delivery at each station according to the schedule listed below : Five Days per Week - Monday through Friday 555 South Ocoee Street Three Days per Week - Monday , Wednesday and Friday 505 Paul Huff Parkway 2000 APD 40 2850 Keith Street 2595 Freewill Road 2190 Westland Drive Prices stated in the proposal should include all costs associated with the performance of the service specified , including , materials , supervision , labor , transportation , and related costs .
