Description | 1 . Commercial grade , high - efficiency , Energy Star Rated washing machines and Commercial , super - capacity dryers to be installed on campus . 2 . All machines shall be maintained and in service seven days a week , 24 hours a day . 3 . Initial delivery of machines shall be new machines . Machines shall be clean and maintained throughout the duration of the contract . If more than one machine is in a location , the machines shall match and be of the same modular design . 4 . Each location shall be ADA - approved and ADA accessible . 5 . Ownership of all laundry machines will remain with the supplier . 6 . The awarded supplier shall provide an online monitoring solution at no additional cost to allow users to determine machine availability from a computer , tablet , or smartphone . The monitoring system shall have the functionality to send a text and email notification to the student when the laundry cycle is complete . 7 . The awarded supplier shall not install , remove , or relocate equipment without prior written approval from the Director of Housing and Residence Life or their designee . |
