The scope of work includes all labor , materials , tools , appliances , equipment , and facilities necessary to do all of the work noted in the Scope . All work shall be done to the satisfaction and under the supervision of the Director of Facilities Planning and Construction or authorized representative . The scope of work for Laurelglen ElementaryExterior Paint includes but is not limited to the following : • Prepare surfaces appropriately : o Power wash building exterior , scrape off loose paint and sand as needed o Remove any items that are not permanently attached to walls o Protect all fixtures , equipment , furniture and floors from overspray and drips o Caulk around windows , doors , and trim as needed , fill in nail holes and small cracks , and sand as needed o Clean , sand , and prime all bare metal • Paint all buildings ’ exterior components , such as walls , overhangs , fascia , flashing , gutters , downspouts , trim , doors , ramps , ornamental , and railings by applying ( 2 ) coats of paint
