Montabella Community Schools is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide lawn mowing and weed trimming services on school property . This RFP outlines the scope of work , submission requirements , and evaluation criteria . 2 . PROJECT OVERVIEW The project consists of mowing and weed trimming in the following areas : Montabella School grounds including Montabella Football Field Montabella Baseball Field Montabella Softball Fields ( 2 ) Montabella Football Practice Field 3 . SCOPE OF WORK The proposal is to perform lawn mowing and weed trimming services on school properties . The work will include : The contractor shall furnish all labor , materials , and equipment necessary to perform the lawn mowing and weed trimming tasks . The Contractor shall verify the areas , sizes , and quantities of the surfaces to be maintained and it shall be the Contractor ’ s responsibilities to provide all services required . Contractor shall mow the grass around all buildings , athletic fields , signs , light poles , fences and any other obstructions to maintain a well manicured appearance . All work shall be performed between 8am and 8pm . Services shall be provided weekly or about every seven ( 7 ) days . The Contractor shall consult with the Maintenance Director to work around scheduled activities and events and adjust their schedule accordingly . Work shall commence on or about April 15 , 2026 and continue until approximately October 15 , 2026 , weather dependent . The mowing operations shall be conducted in a manner that will not create a hazard , nor hinder , restrict or impede traffic . The equipment furnished by the Contractor must be in good repair and shall be maintained so as to produce a clean , sharp cu to the grass at all times . Contractor shall visually inspect for debris that may be hazard and remove prior to mowing . Direct grass and weed clippings away from roadways , parking lots , sidewalks and playgrounds . Under no circumstances shall Montabella Community Schools be responsible for any damages to the Contractor ’ s equipment due to obstacles encountered during work to be performed under this contract .
