Description | 1 ) The Contractor will be solely responsible for all spring and fall clean up , mowing , and trimming and mulching at the discretion and direction of the Department of Public Works ( DPW ). 2 ) Trimming must be done along both sides of all fence lines at the Memorial Park . 3 ) At a minimum , grass at the Memorial Park and Town Office must be cut weekly in the months of May , June , July , and August . Everywhere else needs to be cut biweekly except Smithville ball field . 4 ) Fertilization and Aeration of the fields to be done at the end of mowing season and will be determined by the Director of Public Works . 5 ) The Contractor will notify the Director of Public Works when starting the work to be done and advise of the location ( s ) of the works being worked on . 6 ) The DPW shall be notified 24 hours in advance of any work . 7 ) The first areas to be trimmed , mowed , and cleaned up will be the Memorial Park , Town Office and Commons . 8 ) All flower beds must be trimmed and weeded at the Town Office . |
