This solicitation amendment 0001 adds clause 252 . 225 - 7013 ( Duty - Free Entry ) in response to a question received during the question period . No additional questions were submitted , and the government now considers the question period closed . This solicitation is for a lithography - based ceramic manufacturing ( LCM ) multi - material 3D printer in support of current and future capability for ceramic - based composite materials research , development , testing , processing , and production . The LCM 3D printer will produce ceramic composite test articles and small - scale proof of concept parts . This printer shall be a standalone , enclosed printer unit having two interior rotating vats , a route for material dispersion and cleaning , an integrated build platform , an integrated light source , relevant print file preparation software , and integrated GUI controls .
