LEP Supporting U . S EPA Brownfields RLF

The Licensed Environmental Professional ( LEP ) firm will provide as - needed coordination , direction , and oversight of EPA Revolving Loan Fund ( RLF ) activities , including but not limited to : remediation planning , review and or development of remediation costs , cleanup implementation , oversight of cleanup contractors and other services as may be agreed to at project sites that will be funded through our EPA Brownfields Revolving Loan Fund Program . MetroCOG will depend on the LEP to assist in ensuring that remediation projects comply with all applicable state and federal requirements . These requirements may include but are not limited to applicable state and federal environmental regulations , funding source - specific obligations relative to task eligibility , record - keeping , reporting and wage rate compliance assurance . The LEP will also assist with compliance with all terms and conditions of the RLF cooperative agreement and ensure all deliverables necessary for reporting and record keeping are received . The BRLF Grant services under this contract will be for a period of five years ( 2025 - 2030 ). MetroCOG may amend this contract to accommodate the terms and conditions of future EPA brownfields grants awarded to MetroCOG within this five - year period provided a market survey conducted by MetroCOG indicates the prices the LEP firm ( contractor ) proposes are reasonable .
