Description | RTD is seeking the replacement of rack mounted UPS ( Uninterrupted Power Supply ) batteries in Light Rail Data Center , Data Closets , and Communications Huts along the alignments . This project will prioritize the replacement of the oldest batteries that no longer provide 8 or more hours of offline power substitution in the event of a local power loss . The newly created maintenance schedule will schedule battery replacements at a rate of 1 comm house per month over a 5 - year cycle . |
