Lost Valley Fish Hatchery and Visitors Center Performance Requirements Entrance Road , Visitor Center Parking Lot , Kid ' s Fishing Pond , Production Road , Raceways , Hatchery and Storage / Maintenance Buildings , and Warsaw Forestry Shop - Mowing services shall be done once a week from April 15 through September 30 on Monday through Friday , weather permitting unless otherwise directed by the lead facilities management technician . Areas near the visitor center building and the kid ' s fishing pond must be mowed before 9am or after 4pm . The contractor must perform services as specified below . a . Litter and Debris 1 . Pick up and remove litter and debris prior to mowing . Discard into dumpster provided by department b . Entrance Road 1 . Mow on the east side of the entrance road ( minimum of 15 ' width ) from Lost Valley Road to the visitor center parking lot . 2 . Mow on the west side of the entrance road ( minimum of 15 ' width ) from Lost Valley Road to the production facility road . 3 . Mow a minimum of 30 ' at the overlook on the west side of the entrance road . 4 . Trim around gate , signs , culverts , and parking areas . 5 . Clean up clippings from asphalt and concrete with use of blowers . 6 . Mow a minimum 15 ' width on the west side of the road from production road to visitor center . 7 . Mow and trim a minimum of 15 ' around visitor parking lot across from the entrance and around the mailbox . 8 . Mow area at entrance 100 ' long parallel to Lost Valley Hatchery Road and 60 ' wide flare on the east and west side of the entrance road . c . Visitor Center Parking Lot 1 . Pedestrians have the right of way . Do not mow around vehicles or the public . 2 . Mow from the north end of the parking lot to the south end of the hatchery building , along the west side fo the hatchery building to the east side of the Kid ' s fishing pond and raceway area . 3 . Trim around signs , culverts , light poles , flag pole , building , gate , landscape plantings and trees . 4 . Trim grass growing in parking lot or from asphalt / concrete . 5 . Clean up clippings from sidewalks , asphalt , and parking lot with the use of blowers . d . Kid ' s Fishing Pond 1 . Mow area west of Kid ' s fishing pond to edge of drainage ditch . 2 . Trim around outlet structure , culvert , signs , landscape plantings , and other structures . 3 . The area between the asphalt adn the Kid ' s Fishing Pond liner shall be trimmed . Use extra care not to damage liner or vents . 4 . Clean up clippings in all areas with the use of blowers . e . Production Road 1 . Mow on both sides of the production road from the gate to the employee parking lot a minimum of 15 ' 2 . Trim around culverts , signs , and other structures . 3 . Clean up all grass clippings from asphalt and concrete with the use of blowers . f . Raceways 1 . Mow a minimum width of 15 ' aroudn the asphalt 2 . Trim along the edges of the asphalt , concrete structures , the raceways , and other fixtures . 3 . Clean up grass clippings from the asphalt and concrete with the use of blowers . g . Fish hatchery and Storage / Maintenance Buildings 1 . Mow area behind ( east side ) buildings to drainage ditch to the north side of the employee parking lot .
