This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Forest Service (USFS) Los Padres National Forest (LPF) requires contracted support for an arborist certified assessment report and removal of a dying sycamore tree that has been deemed a threat to federal employee life, health and safety, located behind employee quarters near the USFS Rincon Station in the Santa Barbara Ranger District (RD). The tree is located near the USFS Rincon Station in the Santa Barbera Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest in Carpinteria, CA. Santa Barbara County. Reference the contract terms and maps for more information. (8) Solicitation Number. 127EAT26Q0023 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (9) Line-Item Number. 4-line items are anticipated. See the schedule of items in attachments. (10) Set-aside Status. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. (11) Closing Response Date. 01/28/2026 no later than 2359 PT.
