Description | The Benton County Drainage Authority requests quotes to perform mowing of the buffer strip along both sides of the open channel of the ditch . The buffer strip is defined as the area having a width of 16 - 1 / 2 feet measured outward from the top edge of the ditch channel . It is the goal that grasses and small brush such as willows are mowed , to a height of less than 6 inches . Some adjacent landowners may have already mowed this area , it should be assumed that successful bidders need to mow along both sides of the open channel . |
