Description | 1 . Vendor shall : a . Take voltage multi meter readings and record b . Take current multi meter readings and record c . Verify the voltage and current taken , match ATS digital display d . Perform thermal scan of utility if needed and load terminal lugs and record findings e . Check transfer switch system backup battery . f . Check and record settings . 2 . Facility Management Division personnel will de - energize the ATS so the following work can be performed : a . Verify with multi meter that there is no voltage b . Inspect hardware for carbon tracking and record findings c . Inspect stationary and movable contacts for pitting discoloring . d . Inspect all wiring and harnesses for wear and tighten connections if deemed loose e . Vacuum ATS enclosure with nonconductive vacuum f . Wipe down exterior of ATS , removing all dust and dirt |
