Description | Clearing and Grubbing Bid Item ( per Acre ). The cost for this bid item shall include all equipment , materials , labor and work necessary for a complete clearing project in accordance with the contract documents . The work includes but is not limited to : a . Obtain a Right of Way obstruction permit through the City ’ s Excavation Inspector . This no cost permit includes developing and adhering to traffic control plans . The permitting process is completed online and more information is here : https :// www . burlingtonvt . gov / 633 / Right - of - Way - Encumbrance - Permits - and - Agr b . Remove and reset guardrail for site access . c . Provide a written work plan in accordance with Exhibit 7 . Part of the work plan shall include where and how the trees and grubs will be disposed of . The plan shall be approved prior to clearing work starting . |
