Description | The WORK of this Contract comprises the construction of the following : • Demolition and removal of existing steel structures , concrete foundations , vaults , conduits and boxes ; • Grading and installation of drainage infrastructure ; • Installation of vaults , boxes and conduits for primary and secondary electric cables , control wiring and fiber - optic cables ; • Encasement of primary electric conduits in thermal concrete slurry ; • Modifications to substation fencing and gates ; • Additions to the substation ground grid ; • Installation and repair of concrete foundations ; • Removal , installation , and repair or resurfacing of asphalt pavement surfaces ; • Replacement of insulators , overhead bus and arrestors ; • Installation of substation lighting and cameras ; • Installation of District - provided equipment , including 145 kV VCB , meter pedestals and station service transformers ; • Procurement and installation of steel primary riser structure ; • Installation and termination of primary and secondary electric cables , control wiring , ethernet and fiber - optic cables ; • Testing and commissioning of the substation protection and control systems . |
