Description | Pitkin County Open Space and Trails Department is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to implement the project described in the attached engineered plan set and specifications . This project consists of constructing a grade separated trail crossing ( underpass ) of SH - 133 approximately 0 . 5 mile north of the McClure Pass summit . The underpass structure will be concrete and can be either precast segmental or cast - in - place . Two lanes of traffic must be maintained throughout the duration of the project which will require phased construction of the underpass . Additionally , the project consists of the construction of retaining walls and approach trail segments . See more |
