Description | GDC is seeking a company that can provide ten or more skilled staff to work directly under GDC supervision to repair and maintain certain mechanical and plumbing systems at state prisons . These contractors shall work a fully scheduled work week at multiple facilities throughout the year and may work overtime , on an as needed basis , with prior approval . Duties for plumbing staff include installation and repair of plumbing fixtures such as sinks , toilets , showers , commodes , grease traps , water heaters , hot water tanks , and dishwashers and installation and repair of gas lines , water lines , sanitary and storm lines , Duties for mechanical staff include installation , repair , and maintenance of mechanical equipment such as air handling units , chillers , split systems , package units , end terminal devices , boilers and high / medium / low pressure steam systems . |
