The intent of these requirements is not to give all technical specifications , but instead to give general requirements such that the prospective bidder will be able to submit a bid to the County . It is expected that the successful bidder shall professionally perform a quality job in accordance with the County ’ s direction and manufacturers ’ specifications . The bidder shall furnish all labor , permits , testing , materials , and transportation necessary to perform the work specified in this solicitation . Any additional work required to complete the tasks not specified in this document will be considered incidental and no additional payment will be made . Description of the bidders ’ responsibilities are further described in this document . • Contractor will construct a median cut that includes necessary grading , paving , drainage , and concrete curbs . The contractor will also be responsible for any traffic control and testing required . • The county will provide construction staking services . • All related construction debris shall be legally and properly disposed of off - site . • All work must be completed in a professional workmanship manner . • Work areas must be kept neat and provide for safety of county workers and visitors . • Bid bond will be required for projects over $ 50 , 000 . • Construction work shall meet requirements as SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS and any other applicable county and GDOT specifications .
