Description | The qualified diagnostic medical physicist ( s ) shall perform an evaluation of the operation of all G . V . ( Sonny ) Montgomery VAMC x - ray or imaging devices including CT ( Computed Tomography ) units , gamma cameras , MRI ( Magnetic Resonance Imaging ) units , rad / fluoro rooms , c - arms , portable x - ray devices , fixed specialty units , shielding design , and CR ( Computed Radiography ) readers using appropriate radiation measuring devices and phantoms . The contractor shall present a written report on each x - ray device identifying the x - ray device by serial number as well as the functional parameters of the x - ray device .
