Description | The City of Commerce is requesting proposals to establish a contract for Merchant Services . The period of service to be addressed by the proposal is three years from the initiation of service , with an option for a two year extension of service based upon performance as assessed by City staff . The City currently has one merchant location accepting payments for a variety of City services such as business license fees , permits , plan checks , recreation classes , park and facility rentals and parking fees , etc . Payments are accepted over - the - counter , by telephone , and online . The City prefers a single point of contact for technical issues , configuration changes , upgrades , maintenance and troubleshooting for any merchant bankcard issues . |
