The City of Mesa ( hereinafter “ City ”) has issued this Request for Proposal (“ RFP ”) to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced firms ( hereinafter “ Respondent ”) that can provide professional advising and consulting for Mesa - based businesses to build resiliency , increase competitiveness , adapt to changes in the business environment , implement new policies , procedures and processes , stimulate new business , and strategize and plan for the future of their companies . SCOPE OF WORK / DETAILED REQUIREMENTS To maximize the reach and efficiency of the Program relative to the available funding , it is essential the desired programming is delivered using methods that offer maximum reach and the ability to be watched later for those who cannot attend live / in person due to business and scheduling conflicts . • What innovative delivery models do you propose to engage ? • How would you use Mesa Business Builder @ The Studios as part of your offerings ? • How will you respond to emerging needs ? Assistance should be engaging and offer implementable suggestions and solutions that are applicable across a wide spectrum of businesses . The City will compensate the selected organizations ( contractors ) and their subcontractors as negotiated by contract with the City of Mesa . Additionally , the following will apply : • Partner organizations will , at a minimum , host quarterly workshops for small businesses aligned with the core business topics outlined in this scope . These workshops should be practical , interactive , and designed to address current challenges and opportunities facing Mesa - based entrepreneurs . Detail your plan to provide workshops : in person , online , and / or hybrid format to maximize accessibility for business owners with scheduling constraints . • Individualized one - on - one consulting will be provided by qualified professionals to businesses that require assistance beyond what is provided in webinars and other offerings . All contractors to the City will disclose their subcontractors and provide a resume and portfolio / sample or other evidence of their work . Specific services should be detailed in the submitted response . • All contractors will monitor the quality of the services provided by their subcontractors . • All contractors will be required to use the digital platform designated by the City of Mesa as follows : To manage advising hours and project hours , individual tracking systems will not be permitted . The digital platform designated by the City of Mesa is a full resource and service tracking platform . All contractors will complete their service tracking on the digital platform designated by the City of Mesa . Reports will be generated from the digital platform designated by the City of Mesa for hours assigned and used . Satisfaction surveys will be sent via the digital platform designated by the City of Mesa to clients for services received . Post on the digital platform Community Board at least once weekly Share upcoming training / workshops on the events calendar To have advisors ’ profiles on the platform for each subcontractor Vendors selected and their subcontractors will have administrative access on the digital platform to their assigned clients . Training on use of the digital platform will be provided . • Each contractor ’ s representative ( s ) shall have a profile on the digital platform designated by the City of Mesa . • Contractors will be required to provide key performance indicators ( KPIs ) including : Number of businesses served Number of advising hours delivered
