Description | The project encompasses the overall renovation of the existing MET Building , inclusive of the overall cleaning of clay brick exterior masonry , cast in place concrete , and limestone architectural components ; repair of clay brick exterior masonry ; repair of reinforced concrete adjacent to window openings ; replacement of clay brick masonry ; replacement stone copings ; removal and reinstallation of existing aluminum storefront window systems ; repair of steel lintels at openings ; installation of clay brick masonry ; and associated work required from Mechanical , Electrical , and Plumbing contractors . The project also includes replacement of the building ’ s HVAC units and associated upgrades as well as related electrical and plumbing improvements , focusing primarily on replacement of HVAC equipment and associated infrastructure . The scope also includes elevator modernization and renovations to the third - floor roof , as well as select interior improvements to support functionality and overall building usability . |
