Description | METER ACCURACY TESTING . Meter testing services will range from small meters ( 3 ” and smaller ) and large meters ( 4 ” and larger ). Small meters will be removed and placed on a mobile test bench or transported to a testing facility . Large meters will be tested in place and on - site . All meter testing shall be conducted utilizing current AWWA standards . Each test shall be reported individually and provided in PDF format . A summary of all tests shall be provided to the City in excel . Reports at a minimum shall include the following . • AWWA test method used • Date of test • Personnel conducting test • Meter serial number • Meter location ( name and or address ) • Meter size • Meter type or model • Meter manufacture • Percent accuracy • Flow rate ( s ) ( low , intermediate , and high flow rate values ) • Tested meter register / totalizer start value • Tested meter register / totalizer end value • Net test volume ( gallons ) • Test duration • Miscellaneous notes and recommendations All meter testing will be schedule with the contacts below . Testing will occur on an as needed basis |
