Description | The Minnesota Department of Health ( MDH ) intends to enter an agreement for the purchase of custom dried minimum inhibitory concentration ( MIC ) susceptibility Streptococcus panels with Remel . The ( MIC ) susceptibility Streptococcus panels are needed to fulfill the responsibilities set forth for the MDH Public Health Laboratory in the cooperative agreement with Centers of Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ). This purchase has been deemed a single source as Remel is the sole proprietor of the ( MIC ) susceptibility Streptococcus panels . These custom produced panels are the only panels which can be used to perform the testing to the specifications required , and are also the only panels that have been validated ( per Federal regulations ) by our laboratory for use with the Remel / TREK Sensititre System . Please note : This is a Sole Source Notification . |
