Description | Request for Proposal, RFP # 26-1319, Migration of On-Premise Virtualization Infrastructure:Hardware Refresh & Hypervisor Transition has been issued and posted on the district’s (“Waco ISD” orthe “District”) e-bidding website. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals fromqualified systems integrators, hardware vendors, and technology providers to design, deliver, and execute acomprehensive infrastructure migration. The scope includes replacing existing server hardware andtransitioning from the current VMware virtualization platform to an alternative enterprise-grade hypervisorsolution (e.g., Nutanix AHV, Verge.io, KVM/Proxmox VE, HPE Morpheus).The winning vendor will be responsible for providing a fully integrated hardware-software architecture,migration methodology, implementation services, and post-implementation support to ensure zero data loss andminimal operational disruption. |
