Missouri State Fair Trash Collection Services

The contractor shall meet with the state agency prior to the state fair at the fairgrounds on a mutually agreed upon day and time to review the locations of the trash receptables and other information pertaining to the services . The contractor shall provide trash collection services for all areas , excluding the restricted areas between the hours of 5 : 00 a . m . and 8 : 00 p . m ., or as specified by the state agency . The contractor shall provide trash collection services in the restricted area , indicated on Attachment # 1 , between the hours of 5 : 00 a . m . and 10 : 00 a . m ., or as specified by the state agency . The contractor shall provide trash collection services prior to 10 : 00 a . m . for the approximately one hundred fifty ( 150 ) state agency owned ( 55 ) gallon bag lined barrels that are located throughout the grounds of the Missouri State Fairgrounds . The state agency shall furnish and replace the bag liners for fifty - five ( 55 ) gallon barrels . The contractor shall begin trash collection services on the Monday prior to the state fair and continue providing trash collection services on a daily basis for fifteen ( 15 ) days thereafter . The contractor shall collect all types of trash from the trash receptacles , with the exception of hazardous waste and any other items that are prohibited by law from being disposed of in landfills . The contractor must immediately notify the state agency in the event that hazardous waste or items prohibited by law are found in the trash receptacles . The contractor shall maintain a fifteen ( 15 ) foot perimeter around trash receptacles , keeping the area clean and free of trash . In case of inclement weather , the contractor shall provide equipment and personnel to pick up trash in areas where trucks cannot enter . If notified by the state agency , the contractor shall pick up trash from the requested receptacle withing sixty ( 60 ) minutes of the notification from the state agency . After each collection , the contractor shall maximize sanitary conditions by cleaning , deodorizing , and disinfecting the trash receptacles , either on site or by actual replacement at no additional charge to the state agency . The state agency may inspect the trash receptacles to monitor compliance with this requirement . The contractor shall provide the following trash receptacles : Ninety ( 90 ), two ( 2 ) cubic yard trash receptacles . Eighteen ( 18 ), eight ( 8 ) or six ( 6 ) cubic yard rear - load trash receptacles with lids . The contractor shall have access to the rear load receptacles with escort from the state agency at mutually agreed upon times . The state agency will make every effort to be available when this is needed . Six ( 6 ), thirty ( 30 ) cubic yard roll off trash receptacles without lids . The five ( 5 ), thirty ( 30 ) cubic yard roll off trash receptacles shall be located as directed by the state agency at the following locations : Beef house ( 1 receptacle ) West end of carnival ( 1 receptacle ) Commercial building ( 1 receptacle ) Old infield of mile track ( 2 receptacles ) The contractor shall keep trash receptacles in good mechanical and safe working condition . The contractor shall repair or schedule a replacement receptacle within twelve ( 12 ) hours of the state agency notification . The contractor shall supply a replacement trash receptacle at no additional fee to the state agency in the event of a receptacle maintenance . The contractor shall provide a minimum of two ( 2 ) packer trucks with a minimum capacity of twenty ( 20 ) cubic yards and shall park the packer trucks at remote sites on the Missouri State Fairgrounds , as specified by the agency , through the Missouri State Fair schedule . The contractor shall provide trash collections services for approximately five hundred ( 500 ) unlined fifty - five ( 55 ) gallon barrels to camping areas and parking lots after 10 : 00 a . m . The contractor shall understand and agree that the trash from the fifty - five ( 55 ) gallon barrels shall be collected utilizing a packer truck . The contractor shall remove all trash containers within two ( 2 ) weeks after the last scheduled day of trash collection services .
