Description | 1 . Consistent with OSU FST ’ s mission of delivering training throughout the State of Oklahoma , this training unit shall be designed and compliant for approved transport on Oklahoma and U . S . highways , meeting all DOT requirements and not be subject to any special permitting . 2 . Training components of the simulator shall be designed to meet applicable nationally recognized training standards for live fire training . 3 . The simulator shall be designed to be transported as one unit towed by an existing over - the - road tractor provided by OSU FST . 4 . Once at a training location the simulator shall be easy to set up before the training begins and easy to tear down after the training is completed . It is anticipated that set up and take down time before and after class should not exceed more than 30 minutes each . 5 . The simulator must include a burn box and observation area . 6 . The simulator must include thermocouples located throughout the simulator to monitor temperatures during the live fire training . 7 . The simulator shall be designed to meet recognized industry standards for safety pertaining to ingress and egress of the simulator . |
