This Request for Proposals ( the “ RFP ”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“ SaskPower ”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Moving Installation & Related Services , as further described in the RFP Particulars ( Appendix A ) ( the “ Work ”). SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act ( Saskatchewan ). It is principally responsible for the generation , transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan . Under the direction of SaskPower ’ s Properties and Shared Services Department , the Contractor shall provide moving and installation services for furniture , fixtures , and related office equipment (“ FF & E ”) such as assembly , disassembly , delivery , installation , and relocation ; and perform related services as detailed below such as supporting SaskPower ’ s Space Management team in managing SaskPower ’ s furniture warehouse , inventory , and related warehouse administrative services . SaskPower has over 150 facilities located throughout the Province of Saskatchewan . In addition , SaskPower may call for Work to be performed at non - SaskPower owned facilities . For safety and security purposes , there may be specific Site requirements which the Contractor must follow . These Site requirements may include the use of specific personal protective equipment , Site access training as well as access security compliance or asbestos procedures . See more
