The installation ’ s goal is to be an attractor for water - related environmental education content featuring the polluted history of the Mississippi River and its return to a healthier river today . The Mississippi was essentially a dead river in 1926 from sewage and other pollutants . Explores the many things that were changed that allowed the river to be healthier . |
