. Provide continuous routine maintenance and support , as defined in but not limited to Section 2 . 3 of this RFP , or the existing CCTV , security hardware , software , and monitoring equipment infrastructure to reduce downtime and streamline response time for corrective maintenance . B . Provide maintenance at a consistently high level of quality to properly protect all service equipment from deterioration , to include continuous peak - performance of all hardware , to ensure minimum down - time for any portion of the system . C . Provide the necessary equipment to access the cameras at each of the locations listed in Appendix 4 . It shall also be understood that certain cameras require the use of a lift truck ( or bucket truck ) to perform the semi - annual service and any necessary corrective maintenance . At some locations , ladders , scissors lifts or other devices may be required to access and service equipment . D . Provide qualified personnel to access the cameras at each of the locations listed in Appendix 4 . E . Be responsible for the acquisition of all necessary permits ; these permits shall conform to all Amtrak / Chessie Seaboard X ( CSX ) / MTA certifications and allow the maintenance personnel to enter such properties that are designated in the equipment list . The costs of the permit are to be reimbursed by MTA using the Amtrak / CSX Permit to Enter ( PTE ) Allowance provided in Attachment B - 6 . MTA currently has surveillance equipment and associated devices on twelve ( 12 ) Amtrak properties and two ( 2 ) CSX properties listed in Appendix 5 . F . Possess , either directly or through a subcontractor , the necessary skillsets and rights to maintain and troubleshoot existing Aralia , Genetec , TS1000 and SFS1000 Claris Servers , SightLogix Cameras and the existing hardware and software listed in Appendix 4 . G . Track the work of subcontractors and all work performed by the Contractor under this Contract . H . Comply with all applicable Federal , State , and local laws and regulations . I . Ensure its personnel possesses current certifications as listed in Section 2 . 7 . 2 of this RFP . Personnel in the process of acquiring certifications shall acquire applicable certifications within the time specified by the State . J . Require pre - employment substance / drug screening of all applicants prior to employment ( at the Contractor ’ s expense ). Pre - employment substance / drug screening shall satisfy the requirements of the MTA - regulated drug testing protocols and be performed at a facility approved by MTA . A positive test result shall cause the applicant to be rejected .
