Briefly , the work is described as : providing new split system direct expansion heat pump systems in selected locations at five district schools . The project includes all necessary equipment , refrigerant piping , control / signal wiring , condensate drainage systems ; electrical upgrades including wiring and circuit installation , to support the new heat pumps ; roofing modifications ; and architectural finish repairs and alterations ; perform Testing and Commissioning . Owner will separately procure associated building automation controls . 1 . 2 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A . Project Identification : The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes , but is not limited to , the following : 1 . Providing split system direct expansion heat pump systems in selected locations of facilities . 2 . Provide ventilation equipment and ductwork where applicable . 3 . Provide refrigerant piping , control / signal wiring , and condensate drainage systems . 4 . Perform electrical upgrades , including wiring and circuit installation , to support the new heat pumps . 5 . Perform finish repairs , roofing modifications , framing additions and modifications as required to support work , as indicated . 6 . Perform Testing and Commissioning : Conduct thorough testing of all installed units to verify proper operation , refrigerant charge , airflow , and thermostat functionality . Ensure systems meet manufacturer specifications and performance requirements . 7 . Associated building automation controls will be procured separately by owner .
