Description | This is an invitation to water market intermediaries (Potential Suppliers) to provide services to identify and present water entitlement purchase opportunities to the Customer from willing sellers. Recovered water will go towards bridging the gap to Sustainable Diversion Limits under the Murray-Darling Basin Plan. The Customer's requirements include promoting and marketing the Commonwealth’s Bridging the Gap water recovery program, working with sellers to complete the appropriate application forms, and facilitating communication between the Customer and sellers regarding the acceptance of offers. Water market intermediaries will not hold any Commonwealth funds or water entitlements. In early 2026, Potential Suppliers that are successful in this ATM process and who have entered into a Contract with the Customer as a result of this ATM, will be issued with instructions relating to a tender to purchase permanent water entitlements in the NSW Namoi and NSW Border Rivers catchments. |
