Description | The awarded vendor will : 1 . Install network access points , using a new bracket unless the existing bracket is of the same model and update to the most current software revision . 2 . Install new copper drops as needed to support new access point installation . Please use existing wiring for standard one to one replacement of access point . 3 . Label each access point with the mac address on the outside of the cover . 4 . Provide a spreadsheet with MAC address and room name to the technology department . 5 . Label each new copper drop in the MDF or IDF with the associated room number . 6 . New runs to access points should be patched in using Blue patch cables . |
