Description | The University of Edinburgh has appointed a supplier to fulfil the role of Principal Contractor to complete construction of the New Biology Project (New Darwin Building) at the king’s Building Campus.The building shall deliver new research, teaching and innovation facilities for 130 researchers, 140 postgraduate students and 20 innovators within a 5525m2 (GIFA) ‘zero carbon ready’ building, and 1097m2 (GIFA) of extended/ refurbished space; including a link bridge to Waddington/ Rutherford, localised refurbishment of space within the Swann, MEP, and Roger Land Buildings.The University’s commercial commitment at this point is restricted to the Pre-construction Services element only, separately identified in the bidsCPV: 45000000. |
