Description | Belknap County is seeking qualified flooring contractors to furnish all labor , materials , equipment , supervision , and incidentals necessary to remove existing flooring and install new carpet tile and associated finishes in designated areas of the Belknap County Sheriff ’ s Office . A . Demolition Remove and properly dispose of all existing flooring materials , adhesives , and associated debris . Remove existing cove base and transition strips . Protect adjacent finishes , walls , millwork , and doors during demolition . Dispose of materials in accordance with all applicable federal , state , and local regulations . B . Floor Preparation ( Light Prep ) Contractor shall include light floor preparation in base bid , including : Scraping and removal of residual adhesive . Minor patching and leveling of substrate . Filling small cracks and surface imperfections . Surface cleaning and preparation in accordance with manufacturer specifications . |
