Army Project Manager Command & Control Infrastructure ( PM C2I ), Product Manager Mounted Command & Control ( PdM MC2 ), and the Army Contracting Command , Aberdeen Proving Ground is conducting market research to request industry ’ s feedback regarding Commercial Off - the - Shelf ( COTS ) or Non - Developmental Items ( NDIs ) that are readily available as potential solutions for Mounted Vehicle Hubs . The Mounted Command and Control Hub has a heritage in the development performed under the Mounted Mission Command Transport program and builds upon those capabilities and lessons learned . These hubs will serve as the focal point through which the Next Generation Command and Control ( NGC2 ) layers pass through on mounted platforms . The hubs shall enable apps and data access to network and transport layers and facilitate communications with other mounted platforms as well as dismounts and other stationary locations . THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION : This Request for Information ( RFI ) is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal ( RFP ), Request for Quotation , Invitation for Bid , or a promise to issue an RFP in the future . This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever . The Government is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals . Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this RFI ; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested parties ’ expense . Proprietary information shallNOTbe submitted . The Government shall not be liable for , or suffer , any consequential damages for any improperly identified proprietary information . Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP , if issued . If an RFP is released , it will be synopsized on the Sam . gov website . It is the responsibility of the interested party to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement . All material submitted in response to this RFI must be unclassified .
