THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 13 . 5 and SUBPART 12 . 6 - STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS - AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE . SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES ARE UTILIZED IN THIS PROCUREMENT . THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION ; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED , AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED . This solicitation is a Request for Quotation ( RFQ ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System ( NAICS ) code for this procurement is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance . The purpose of this procurement is to procure the renewal of the Nikon SoRa Maintnenance Service agreement for the spinning disk microscope ( Serial # 95V50006 ), including Ti2 - E electrical coverage ( Serial # 541934 ) and accompanying LUNF XL Lasers Unit ( Serial # 19001547 ). The period of performance is 12 months . This combined synopsis / solicitation is a Request for Quote ( RFQ ), prepared utilizing FAR 12 procedures . This announcement constitutes the only solicitation . Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued .
