Spring Street Entrance Improvements • Demolish and remove the existing west entrance island and the associated pole light at the Spring Street entrance . • Reconstruct the entrance area per the site plan to accommodate the new inbound traffic lane . • Reinstall the existing pole light in the new designated location shown on the site drawings . • Refer to the site drawings for all detailed specifications , dimensions , and construction requirements . Osage Street Entrance Reconfiguration • Demolish the existing entrance located on the northeast portion of the parking lot . • Install new curb to form a new island in the area where the existing entrance is currently located , matching the configuration and appearance of the existing landscape islands . • Install new sidewalk in accordance with ADA accessibility requirements . • Refer to the site drawings for all additional details , dimensions , and construction requirements . ADA Ramp Juvenal Wing Improvement • Demolish and remove the existing concrete and asphalt along the front parking lot spaces of the Juvenile Wing at the North Independence branch ( see drawing for exact area and specifications ). • Install new concrete configured to meet ADA accessibility requirements in accordance with the site drawings and specifications . • Reconfigure parking spaces as required and repaint striping where needed to match the updated layout . • Refer to the site drawings for additional details , dimensions , and full scope of work . Concrete Repairs and Painting • Demolish and replace all concrete sidewalk sections identified on the drawings as requiring removal and replacement . • Prepare and paint all parking lot pole bases using a coating designed to seal existing cracking and prevent further deterioration ( please see drawing for epoxy paint specification ). • Refer to the drawings for complete descriptions , quantities , and all additional scope requirements .
